PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING

Any personal or special data (as per art. 9 of European Regulation 679/2016) supplied freely and voluntarily by users, or contained in the attached CVs, are collected and processed in compliance with the rules established by the Regulation for the following purposes:

  • personnel selection and recruitment;
  • management of a contract relationship, training courses or internships;  
  • for the formal submission of a job application.

 

NATURE OF THE COLLECTION OF DATA AND CONSEQUENCES OF ANY REFUSAL TO CONTRIBUTE THEM

The contribution of personal data for the purposes referred to in the previous point is necessary for fulfilment of the specific function offered by the "Work for us" section of the website and for the correct submission of your application, to enable you to take part in any personnel selection processes. To submit their applications correctly, candidates must consent to the processing of any special data contributed. Any special data contributed will not be processed without consent; if it is not forthcoming, candidates will be unable to use the function and will be unable to send their data for personnel selection processes. Candidates submitting an application must check that the personal data, and any special data, contributed are correct.

 

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Browsing data

During their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures which operate this software acquire some personal data the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols. These data are not gathered for association with identified subjects, but by their very nature, when processed or associated with data held by third parties, they might allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computer used by users who log onto the website, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used when submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the server’s response status (concluded successfully, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information concerning use of the website and to check that it is operating correctly and are conserved for the minimum period required by the relevant legislation. The data might be used to identify those responsible in the event of IT crime against the site.

 

Personal data supplied voluntarily by the user

Users/visitors are free to provide personal data voluntarily in order to register and to reply to a job advertisement. These data are collected further to compilation of a specific form on the “Work for us” section of the site.

Personal data: personal data means any information relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

DATA PROCESSING PROCEDURES AND DATA STORAGE TIME

Processing takes place using automated tools and/or manually (with paper and digital systems) only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and/or contributed by the user, and, in all cases, for no more than two years after the date of receipt of the data. The data collected are stored in databases at the Company's registered office and specific security measures are implemented to prevent the loss of data, illegal or improper use, or unauthorised access.

 

DISCLOSURE AND DISSEMINATION OF PERSONAL DATA

Any data collected shall be used only by the staff and designated associates appointed by Lavorgomma s.r.l. No data deriving from the web service are disclosed or disseminated to third parties, except in the cases specifically envisaged by Italian or European Union law.

 

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO NON EUROPEAN UNION MEMBER STATES

The data collected and processed are not transferred to companies or other entities outside the European Union.

 

RIGHTS OF USERS (AS "DATA SUBJECTS")

By means of a specific request addressed to Lavorgomma s.r.l., also via email, in accordance with articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) no. 679/16, at any time you may exercise the right to:

- request the Company for access to your personal data and the information relating to them, the rectification of inaccurate or the supplementation of incomplete data, the erasure of personal data concerning you and the restriction of the processing of your personal data;

- request and obtain from the Company - if the legal basis for the processing is a contract or consent, and the processing is carried out using automated means - to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format, also to allow the communication of the said data to another data controller (the "right of portability" of personal data);

- object at any time to the processing of your personal data on the occurrence of specific situations relating to you, bearing in mind that this may imply that the Company will be unable to provide the service requested and/or to fulfil its legal obligations;

- withdraw consent at any moment, only if the processing is based on your consent for one or more specific purposes and relates to ordinary personal data (e.g. date and place of birth or place of residence), or special categories of data (e.g. data which reveal racial origin, political opinions or religious beliefs, or data relating to your health or sex life). However, this is without prejudice to the lawfulness of the consent-based processing prior to the withdrawal;

- object to an automated decision-making process relating to natural persons, including profiling;

- if the circumstances justify this, lodge a claim with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Data Protection Authority,  - www.garanteprivacy.it), without prejudice to the right to any other  jurisdictional recourse, if you maintain that the processing of your personal data breaches the provisions of the GDPR.
